Lofty Naps

This rocks. A small guard rail would probably give me less anxiety, depending on how high up those beds are, but still, awesome. What a fun idea for a vacation cabin or guest area.

Barefoot in Denmark

Here is a cottage in Nordsjælland Denmark - and it is really pretty. I love how clean, light, and minimalistic it is. I have convinced myself that so many scandinavian homes are white because it is dark half of the year.

Community and family is big deal in Denmark, so I imagine that table hosts a lot of laughter filled gatherings.

Greek Bathroom

This bathroom is so sweet - open, airy, clean... The curtains make is seem like a little hide away.

Sköna Hem

Everything about this home is fantastic. The architecture, the stone, the whiteness (which is no secret that I adore), the big sofa, the bed tucked away in a candle lit nook, the Eames chairs, the pendant lights, the natural light pouring into the space. So, so, so good.

Another Swedish Charmer

A beautiful Swedish three bedroom apartment. Those fireplaces are phenomenal and the solid white oak flooring is a-ma-zing. Do you suppose their interiors are often so bright and white because it's dark much of the year? See more photos here.

French Village House

A gorgeous home in Provence, France, owned by English antiques dealer, Josephine Ryan. The home had been uninhabited for a long time and required hard work and imagination when Josephine started to restore it. She defines the home as “a mix of modern, rusty and extravagant”.
This home is so great! I can just feel myself sitting the living room breathing in the fresh country air mixed with the smell of old floor boards.
Are you going on vacation to Provence?? You can rent it! Look into it here.

um hi best bath ever (if you lit candles all around the room).

Hanging

A painted branch used as a hanging rod. Great.

Little Loft

Live in a small space? This 200 sq ft loft might be tiny, but it's not lacking style. I love the large artwork around the bed and over the seating area, and I am sure there is a fair amount of storage happening under that bed.

Factory No More

A Parisian factory turned into a bright and beautiful home. Beautiful concrete floors contrast the large white walls and ceiling while neutral furniture and accessories add warmth. I would love to see this place at night when all the different lights are on.

I really love how the bedroom is tucked behind that interior wall of windows under the mezzanine. It's interesting, but it's also a lovely way to bring light deeper into the space. You can't have a bedroom without windows, that's just creepy.

Soft Reception

Is this a wedding reception set up, a dinner party, a bridal shower? I don't know, but I do know that I love it. The soft diffused light washing over the cream and white dining set up is just lovely. I am into paper flowers this week, so I think the flowers and paper cranes are pretty neat. More on paper cranes here .

Swings in Bedrooms? Yes.

It's no surprise that I like this Copenhagen home. Cozy, clean, and inviting, I would spend cold winter days by the fireplace. The swings in the bedrooms are maybe the best thing ever and Eames (dining) chairs always rock my world.

Thrify Interior

I am not a skilled thrift shopper. I do however dream of becoming one. I feel like I am surrounded by people with fantastic thrift shopping skills, maybe I should start rubbing up to them and I will be blessed with at least a small amount of thrifting skills.
That being said. I think this home put together with thrifty flea market finds is awesome.
