Jenna Is Getting Married! First We Party.
Hi friends. I am leaving for Colorado today for my red heads bachelorette party. I promise no one will come home with a face tattoo. Actually, I can't promise that. Have a good weekend!

Wanderlust or Bust
I'm off to Wanderlust! I hope you have a lovely weekend my friends. Mine is going to be pretty great. I get to see my family and go to a bad ass yoga/music fest. I will tell you all about it next week!

Beaver Brook
Beaver Brook is a cabin get away in New York. Some friends got together and built a cabin in the woods to spend time together when they can escape for a few days. Wouldn't this be so lovely?
Dear friends,
Can we please find a little peice of land in the forest or country side, and then build a simple/back to basics cabin to escape to? I promise the interior will look cleaner than these gentleman's does. Let me know what you find.
love, amanda

Happy Weekend
Do you like to be alone? I do. I don't need a ton of alone time, but just a little seclusion from the world every week helps me stay sane. Lately the thought of spending a few days at a lake front cabin all alone (or maybe with Shilo the dog) seems perfect. Away from a cell phone and computer, just water, good food, good books, lots of tea, and a crafty project to work on. Where would you go right now?

Barge Vacation
So I have this fantasy of someday traveling by barge through the canals in the English countryside. In my fantasy I have children, but since I don't currently have children, I may not want to wait till they exist. The canal systems in England are vast and you can mozy down them on a rented flat bottom boat for a week or two.
When I was working in England for a bit I loved to watch the barges pull into Stratford Upon Avon. Kids would jump off to open the locks as their parents steered the big floating vacation home on through. What a lovely time! Pull into Stratford and hop off for dinner and a Shakespearean play.
