Nineteen Weeks

Hi Baby,

We decided to have you at Alma Birthing Center, and tonight is my first appointment with your new midwives, Jocelyn and Stephanie. Your dad, brother and I went to check it out last week and knew it was the right place for us. They have big birthing tubs and serene rooms. I would have you at home, but there is currently a pile driver across the street and the end of July will likely be very toasty in our little apartment. 

Here is the rest of the week in a glance...

Your brother got playmobile whales and dolphins for his birthday. They are awesome. I am tempted to take a bath and play with them every time I see them. Which is a lot... Your dad and I celebrated their arrival with champagne and sparkling cider. 

We all had the weekend off together. It was wonderful and MUCH needed after not having a day off together in months. 

We had a late breakfast, napped, watched movies, and had tacos for dinner.

On Sunday we went to see your grandma and the captain in Hood River. They gave Graham his very first fishing pole for his birthday, which he adored. 

However, he did not adore it when daddy tried helping him cast.
