I am almost finished with this book and... j'adore. It is funny, insightful, and affirms basically every instinct and idea I already possessed about parenting. So, mommies to be, if you are like me and find no interest in books about pregnancy, but do want to get a head start on what to do about getting sleep, making sure your kids don't strictly eat the crap you find on restaurant kids menus, and learn a little bit about another cultures parenting philosophies....this book is great. I love that the author reports on how French parents raise their children, but she doesn't agree with all of it. Because come on, the French don't know everything.
I haven't started this one yet, but already adore it. We have a kid in French immersion school...there is a lot of French around our house. Here is a peak into what it covers:
