A Heart

I heard your heart beat today. The last time we saw Vanessa you were still a little too small to hear anything. Your dad wasn't there this time, so we tried to record it with my phone, but you are apparently very squirmy and kept moving away.

But, I heard your heart beat, and it was amazing. I've started to wonder if you are really in there or if I just have an extremely active imagination and some sort of medical condition. But, you are there, I heard your little heart beating away.
