comfy cozy

Okay.. I guess I have to accept that summer is over, even if it was only here for two weeks. That's okay though because I LOVE fall! It's by far my favorite season. I love the trees changing, I love the cool crisp air, I love boots and layering, I love the holidays and all the anticipation.
I have two priorities for fall. Working on my portfolio and being festive, and I think that finding the perfect everyday comfy cozy scarf is imperative. American Apparels circle scarf seems like a  good candidate.

  1. I don't understand why you keep talking about how short our summer was. I feel like it was absolutely wonderful and I'm refreshed and ready for the rainy season. Out of curiosity though, I've decided to do some research. Here is statistical data to back up my position as well as refute yours:

    May, 2011
    Average High Temperature: 62.5
Days with >=.01" rain: 17 (out of 31)

    June, 2011
    Average High Temperature: 70.1
Days with >=.01" rain: 8 (out of 30)

    July, 2011
    Average High Temperature: 76.9
Days with >=.01" rain: 7 (out of 31)

    August, 2011
    Average High Temperature: 80.5
Days with >=.01" rain: 2 (out of 31)

    September, 2011
    Average High Temperature: 80.3
Days with >=.01" rain: 4 (out of 22 so far)

Summary (including May which I really don't think should be included):
    Portland Summer Average Temperature: 74.6
Portland Summer Days of Rain: 38 (out of 145)
    Percentage of Rainy Days: 26%

Official Summer Summary without May (which is really Spring, who are we kidding):
    Portland Summer Average Temperature: 78
Summer Days of Rain: 21 (out of 114)
Portland Percentage of Rainy Days: 18%
