Cavern Wallpaper
Cavern is a boutique wallpaper design company. All of the wallpapers are hand silk-screened and eco-friendly. There website doesn't elaborate on what makes them eco-friendly, so I will just take their word for it. I love how graphic, bold, and expressive the designs are.
Putting wallpaper on a focal wall in your space adds interest and personality. If you don't want to fully commit to plastering your wall with paper {or if you rent} another option is to buy some plywood from home depot, adhere your paper to that, and screw that into the wall. Then all you leave when you move are a few little holes and you get to take your wallpaper with you!

No-Li Labels
I like to peruse design sites to find inspiring designers creating neat things. Today I found Riley Cran, of Vancouver BC. He recently helped No-Li Brewhouse, of Spokane,
completely re-brand their company, and create their first packaging for
retail. No-Li was created by former employees of Deschutes and Fat Tire, and will start showing up in liquor stores throughout the year, starting
with Denver and Brooklyn. (What about Portland No-Li??)
Nice work Riley.

Show Your Personality
I love designing resumes. So, if you need a resume designed, actually,
if you need anything designed, drop me a line. That being said, Loft Resumes is a pretty cool company that generates interesting and creative resumes for
people. I see a lot of resumes coming into my work that, let's be
honest, look like crap. I understand that not a lot of people have
access to "fancy" software and not everyone is a graphic designer; but
if you can't generate something that doesn't look like Word threw up on a
piece of paper, perhaps you should consider getting a little help creating
something that really stands out.

Keep Calm...
My teacher training graduation is on Sunday and we were asked to prepare an artistic presentation that describes our journey. Whether it's a rap or a painting, it doesn't matter, as long as it's something from your heart.
So, I decide to to create my own "keep calm" poster. Everyone is doing it...
I am sure I am not the first person to create a yoga keep calm poster, but this is my interpretation none the less. I am planning on printing post cards for all my fellow teachers to take home with them. It is appropriate because even when we hit the wall during our training, whether emotionally or physically, we knew to stay present and calm and, well, yoga on.
