Happy Weekend

 

My little sister leaves for South America this weekend and I am taking in her dog Shiloh. Grace (said sister) will be gone for several months so it will be nice and interesting to have some quality dog time. My sister is an explorer, something I used to be too, but put on hold to get myself through design school. I now find myself desperate for adventure and am curious to see what opportunities lie ahead. 

Have fun sister. Shiloh and I will have a grand time exploring Portland together.

Warriors....always cheat.

Warrior Dash was bad ass. I don't think any of us knew quite what to expect, but it was definitely awesome and definitely hard. We decided to dress like the flag since it was September 11th. Good decision I think. Most of the running was uphill and there was so much dust in the air from the beaten trail that all of the once green plants had turned brown and I am still coughing two days later. The obstacles were fun, some were slightly weird, one almost claimed my fingers when they got stuck between ropes and a wood beam, and one gave me a lovely warrior wound on my outer thigh. A large painful bloody warrior wound. Can't wait till next year!!

Warrior Dash

 

Me and a few of my best lady friends will be participating in Warrior Dash in two weeks and boy am I excited! I had a few clever costume ideas... Knights, WW2 Fighter Pilots, Dumbledores Army... However, I think we are going with something a bit simpler, cheaper to create, and still cute.

I shall have a report about it on September 12th. It will probably be an awesome report.
