I need help choosing a diaper bag. I will not be found carrying a bag that is actually called a "diaper bag." They generally make me want to throw up, and Isaac too. SO, I am turning to a more expensive, yet usable long after baby is out of diapers, option.
Option One: Archive by Jenny N. Designs
Option Two: The O.G. from Lo&Sons
Both have messenger straps.
Those are super cute! My bestie with 3 boys gave me some diaper bag advice saying that once you're done with using the diaper bag for a few kids, you can't wait to throw it away. I guess it gets pretty grody over the years of baby mess. I got this one from skip hop for the gender neutral look (so Luke won't mind carrying it) and since it's nylon we can hopefully wash it/spot treat it. Good luck with the decision! I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to have one of each ;-)
ReplyDeleteDuh, the link would help:

ReplyDeleteHey Amanda! Beautiful choices, I envy your style :)
I have to recommend Orla Kiely's "diaper bags". They are identical to the non-diaper types but with a bit more storage, and you would never know it's designed to carry baby things... I love mine and took it to San Fran with my husband sans baby and it was perfect. Plus I love that it is a waxed material and so easy to keep clean. I gather you generally like Scandinavian design so I thought I would share just in case you hadn't come across these bags yet! You can often find great deals on past season designs on Amazon.
Congrats on the baby- I am having a baby July 10th (scheduled c-section, boo) so it will be fun to follow your blog and see someone else (another Amanda!) go through it all with me
Hey! Thank you so much and congrats to you too! I love seeing the photos you post on facebook and instagram and I look forward to have someone to go through it with too. :) I will definitely check the bags out, thanks!
