St Honoré Boulangerie in NW Portland (also in Lake Oswego) is so effing delicious. In case you couldn't tell by the name, it's a French bakery. There is a french flag outside just to remind you. You can find French breads and savory and sweet pastries galore. Although their savory pastries are a little expensive, they are well worth it. My mouth is watering thinking about it. The interior is also pretty fabulous because it looks like a bakery you might find in the French countryside.
