Beethoven Time

I recently watched In Search Of Beethoven , a documentary about, you guessed it, Beethoven. It's on Netflix instant, so if you have 6 hours to spare, check it out. Just kidding. It's not 6 hours long - but it isn't an after dinner affair.

You will be ready for Beethoven themed trivia night once it's all said and done.

..Old Crow

Another video for you this week. This is one of my favorite songs. (I have five.) I am at work designing some marketing material and a smile grew across my face when this song came on; so I thought I would share it with you nice people since you like good things.

These guys really rock my socks off.

Grace Potter

Next week I am going to see Grace Potter at the Portland Zoo. It's my first time going to the zoo for a concert and it will be my first time seeing Grace perform live. I love thinking about my red headed Jenna rocking out. It's going to be fun!

FUN

Hi friends! Did you have a fun Memorial Day weekend? I had a wonderful, wonderful weekend. House painting, parties, breakfast with friends, dinner with friends, naps, sidewalk chalk, a few hours of work, jokes, games, crappy DJ's, laughter...

Tonight I am going to see the band FUN. play at the Roseland. Venue = not the coolest, but I just know that the show is going to be AWESOME. We had a small dance party to their songs in the living room last night to prepare for all the awesomeness of this evening.

Are you going to any fun (not FUN.) shows soon? I think my next scheduled concert is Grace Potter in July.

Mumford

Finally! Tonight I will be at the Mumford and Sons show. I can hardly wait! Have you seen them live? I've tried to get tickets the last three times they were here and failed. Fourth time is a charm.. That's what they say right?

Les Mis

Tuesday night I went to the Keller to see Les Miserables. I believe this is my fourth time seeing it professionally done and it didn't cease to amaze. It was phenomenal! It's sold out in Portland, so if you live here I guess I can't recommend seeing it. HOWEVER, if you live somewhere it is coming to soon, then go. So so great.

It was also nice to see it with friends that were just as excited to see it. It makes the show so much better.

Portland Cello Project

So I have been a fan of The Portland Cello Project for a while now, but after seeing Grace's post (of Design Sponge) about it I was inspired to do the same. They will back here in Portland playing at the Aladdin September 10th. Listen and enjoy.
