I spend a lot of time at Powells. Even more time when my dad is in town because he could wander those used book aisles for days. Powells, for those of you that don't know, is the largest used/new book store in the world. You can wander the decrepit old 68,000 sq foot building that takes up an entire city block in NW Portland forever. Not only can you find great books at half the price of new ones, but it provides fantastic people watching.
